Bill Rausch is the Founder and Managing Director of Bright Point Solutions, where he leads a team focused on helping finance organizations modernize how they plan, forecast, and make decisions.

With more than 25 years of experience in performance management and FP&A software, Bill has built his career at the intersection of finance and technology. Before launching Bright Point, he led professional services and solutions consulting teams for industry leaders like Hyperion, Oracle, and Planful (Host Analytics). His first Bright Point venture became Planful’s largest partner, serving over 400 clients and representing more than a quarter of the company’s customer base before being acquired by UHY, a top 30 public accounting firm.

After reacquiring Bright Point in 2022, Bill refocused the firm around Pigment, the next generation of AI-powered planning software. Under his leadership, Bright Point has become Pigment’s North American Impact Partner of the Year, delivering implementations, managed services, and best-practice frameworks that empower FP&A teams to operate at scale.

Bill is driven by what he calls “the direct pursuit of potential”; the belief that fulfillment comes from building something that grows beyond yourself. It’s what motivates him to keep investing in Bright Point, to help clients achieve more, and to create opportunities for his team to do their best work.

Outside of work, Bill is a lifelong learner, an avid golfer and a fan of the New York Jets and Formula 1.
